Singer/songwriter Theresa Walker feeds our feminine soul.

Born and raised in California, Theresa's folk/rock tunes are melodic with a pop sensibility. The straightforward lyrics are anything but simple. Every note reveals depth, hope and endless possibilities. "I’m driven by a desire for my own clarity, happiness, and emotional freedom." She keeps a mini voice recorder with her at all times, saving random thoughts for future writing sessions with her guitar and notepad. The chorus to "Feel Free" is an essential message to current and future S Factor goddesses.

It's easy to see why producers of the Wonder Woman Mix Tape (part two of their killer Girl Power Series) jumped at the chance to include "Feel Free" in their compilation CD of empowering music by female artists. After recording under the nickname "Tree" for many years, Theresa chose to go back to her given name. "Tree had started to feel like a jacket that I do adore but just doesn't fit me anymore. I'm older, I'm wiser, I'm a grown ass woman and using my real name is symbolic of my acceptance of these things." The second verse captures her newfound pride and adult presence.

When she's not creating music, Theresa enjoys snuggling with her kitty and her special lap dance man. Meditation, journaling and of course, S Factor carry her through life's difficult moments. "Let nothing stop you from taking this class…and don’t wait for your friend to take it with you…take it alone if you must! I believe there is not one single woman on this planet that doesn’t want to feel some sense of her own beauty…and S factor is such an amazing tool for that." In class with the dynamic Janelle Giumarra as her instructor, Theresa dances to Fiona Apple and Jonny Lang but admits that hip-hop lights her fire. Her own journey is one of independence with no apology.
